Journal November 20, 2015
This is just a random journal entry for my own personal use. Read at your own risk! Jude has been so cute lately. I love that boy so much. He has been swearing a little. "What the hell?" He even said "What the f***?" Oh dear. Now when he says words like hell or butt or boob or whatever he says, "That's a bad word. I'm just telling you so you won't say it." The other day he said he wanted to wear a dress (after I told Drew to put one on for a YW thing) and then he asked what I dress was. I told him and he said, "I obviously don't have a dress." I think that's the first time I've heard him say the word obviously.
My mom and I saw Mockingjay Part II today. It was good. A little slow, but nice to see the story come to an end. So glad my mom was up for it. She made me laugh when she called me back after she got my text. I answered and said "Hey!" and she said "Hey" back, kind of a little more drawn out--kind of like teasing me for being so casual. We both laughed.
I'm still super torn up about the Mormon church taking such a hard line against gay members and their children. So sad and depressed. This has been a very hard two weeks. Very hard. In mourning.
Now I'm going to go watch something on TV. Jude is in bed and Dave is down watching Mockingjay Part 1 so he can take the girls to Part 2 on Tuesday.

Cute son
The other day my five-year-old saw a Curious George where he buries things! He got a grape from my mom's house and went home and buried it in our garden box. He is SO cute.

Fall 2015
I'm no writer, but I figure I'll just dive right back in. Facebook kind of took over right as I was getting my groove with my blog, and I've discovered I kind of miss it. I feel like my mind is fracturing with FB and my newish cell phone. I have had a smart phone for about a year now. I flit from email (hardly ever anything interesting) to FB (nice to see friends' updates but there is also a lot of garbage in the trending portion, and sometimes I get sucked in to reading about popular culture things I truly have no interest in). Then I flit over to Words with Friends, and if I remember that I am trying to achieve more focus and end this self-inflicted ADD, I settle in to read from my Kindle App. Right now I am reading Dracula. I love it! I want to watch a good version of it once I finish the book. If I decide I have the energy and where-with-all, I will try to be Dracula for Halloween. I saw some little flies at Zurcher's today and thought how cute it would be to make a Dracula-themed Halloween box. Maybe I will try to do that for Jude. I'm off to teach now--I have the worst teaching schedule ever. I don't get done till 9:40 on M/W nights--too late for me.
